Wellfleet Selectboard

The Wellfleet Selectboard will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. located at the Wellfleet Adult Community Center (ACC), 715 Old King's Highway, Wellfleet, MA 02667. Remote participation will be available by Zoom and telephone as provided below, in compliance with 940 CMR 29.10 and the Town's Remote Participation Policy. If technological problems interrupt remote participation, the meeting may be suspended or ended at the discretion of the Chair in consultation with the Board.
Selectboard meetings are broadcast live on Comcast cable (Wellfleet Government TV Channel 18) and are recorded. Recordings of meetings are available at wellfleet-ma.gov

I. Announcements and Public Comments
- Note: Public comments are limited to no more than three (3) minutes per speaker. The Board will not deliberate or vote on any matter raised solely during Announcements & Public Comments.

III. Public Hearings ~ Public Comments are always welcome for public hearings
- To review and vote on the Wellfleet Short Term Housing Registration Fees.
- Initiate a temporary closure beginning December 10, 2025, for a small area in Duck Creek as an oyster spawning sanctuary for a season or more, as recommended by the Shellfish Advisory Board at its meeting on November 12, 2025. Re-opening the area will be at the discretion of the Shellfish Department, but in no event longer than the Mass. Division of Marine Fisheries requirement of re-opening in three years. Maps will be provided with meeting materials.
- Application received on November 14, 2025, for the transfer of shellfish grant license #01-03-B consisting of approximately three acres in the deep-water area of Indian Neck from David Seitler (Wellfleet, MA) and Chris Milewski (Wellfleet, MA) to David Seitler.
- Application received on November 16, 2025, for the transfer of shellfish grant license #s 2000-3 and 2000-3 Ext consisting of approximately one acre and 0.6 acres, respectively, on Egg Island from Robert Olson (Wellfleet, MA) and Daniel Ho (Wellfleet, MA) to Daniel Ho.
- Application received on November 17, 2025, for the transfer of shellfish grant license #99-1 Ext. consisting of approximately 0.3 acres on Mayo Beach from Angela Osowski (Wellfleet, MA) to Angela Osowski and Christopher Pickard (Wellfleet, MA).
- Request for an initial term for shellfish grant license #01-04-B consisting of approximately three acres in the deep-water area of Indian Neck, for two years beginning December 31, 2025, and ending December 31, 2027, for Andrew Young (Wellfleet, MA) contingent upon Conservation Commission approval on December 3, 2025, and Army Corps of Engineers authorization.
IV. Board/Committee Appointments and Updates ~ Public Comments will be allowed for this agenda item
- Appointment of Elaine Baskin as a voting member to the Commission on Disabilities and the Open Space Committee for a term of three -years.
- Appointment of Katherine LeTourneau, Ded. As a voting member to the Commission on Disabilities for a term of three years.
V. Use of Town Property ~ There will be no public comments taken for this agenda item.
- Hailee Wilcox & Matt Rivers ~ May 30, 2026, 8am-4pm, surf competition to celebrate the local cape cod surf community, LeCount Hollow Beach.

- Acceptance of Housing Improvement Works Iinfrastructure Program Grant for Pain Hollow Road Rental Housing Improvement Project in the amount of $500,000.00
- Acceptance of Massachusetts Community Development Block Grant Program in the amount of $1,250,000.00
- Acceptance of Community One Stop for Growth Grant from the Housing Choice Grant Program to support Maurice's Campground Redevelopment Master Plan Project in the amount of $150,000.00
