Board of Assessors

CHARTER Chapter 8 Section 3

8-3-1   A Board of Assessor of three members shall be appointed by the Board of Selectmen for three-year overlapping terms. Two members shall serve part-time; the third shall devote his full working time to the duties of his office, and shall be professionally qualified for the duties of the office as required by General Law.

8-3-2  The Board shall exercise such powers and duties as are prescribed by General Law, this Chapter, and By-Law.
