Notice of Public Hearings
Barnstable County Proposed Ordinance Nos. 22-21 and 22-22
On August 3, 2022 at 4:00 p.m., the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates will hold will
hold hybrid, (in person and virtual) public hearings on: Proposed Ordinance 22-21, to allocate
the amount $932,576 from funds received by Barnstable County under the American Rescue
Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) to be expended for the Regional Housing Strategy Project; and
Proposed Ordinance 22-22, to allocate the amount of $5,000,000 from funds received by
Barnstable County under ARPA to be expended on grants for small and medium-sized projects.
The public hearings will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn Conference Center, Barnstable County
Complex, 3195 Main Street Route 6A, Barnstable, MA. The public hearings will be open to
anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances either in
person, or via Microsoft Teams. The full text of the proposed ordinances has been electronically
distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County, is also available on the
Assembly web page with instructions on accessing the public hearing, and will be detailed on
the Assembly of Delegates Business Calendar for August 3, 2022 located at
https://www.capecod.gov/county-government/meeting-center/. Written comments can also
be emailed to owen.fletcher@barnstablecounty.org by noon on or before the date of the public
hearing. The public hearings and Assembly meeting will be live streamed via YouTube and can
also be accessed at https://www.capecod.gov.
