Job Description: CONSERVATION AGENT
The Town of Wellfleet is seeking to fill the position of Conservation Agent to assist and advise the Conservation Commission in interpreting and enforcing the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, Wellfleet Bylaws, and related state and local regulations; Performs field inspections; prepares Orders of Conditions and related documents; community outreach and education; and all other related work as required. FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC
The Town of Wellfleet seeks qualified applicants for the full-time position of Firefighter/Paramedic or Firefighter/EMT. Requirements include Massachusetts/National Registry Paramedic, or EMT certification, (Paramedic preferred) and training to a minimum of Firefighter I/II is highly preferred. Applicant must also be able to pass a comprehensive physical examination, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Human Resources Division’s Physical Abilities Test. After hiring, the candidate must also attend and pass the Massachusetts State Fire Academy Recruit Program. An eligibility list will be created for current and future position openings from this hiring process.
