Community Preservation Committee

Minutes of Meeting June 24, 2015

Wellfleet Town Hall Hearing Room

Present: Peter Hall, Chair; Elaine McIlroy, Geraldine Ramer, Cary Rea, Gary Sorkin, Donald Thimas

Regrets: Kevin Carroll, Janet Reinhart, Robert Jackson

Chair Peter Hall called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m.

Minutes

Sorkin moved to approve the minutes of May 13, 2015.  Rea seconded, and the motion carried 5-0.

Project Updates

The Committee reviewed June 2015 Activity Report^* and discussed Gull Pond Affordable Homes, which will now be six rental units, and the other Housing grants.  Elaine McIlroy discussed Housing Trust Fund regulations. 

Membership

Geraldine Ramer of the Historical Commission received a certificate of appreciation for her service on the Committee.  Donald Thimas said he would be spending so much time away during the active winter season that he is resigning as the Member at Large.  CPC will send the Historical Commission a letter

Summer Schedule

Members agreed that there was no need for summer meetings.  The July 15, 2015 deadline for applications will remain in place. 

Agenda for Next Meeting

The agenda for the September 23, 2015 meeting will include:  Anticipated Projects & Finances, Project Updates, Membership, Minutes and Mail.

Adjournment

Sorkin moved to adjourn. Thimas seconded, and the motion carried 5-0.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
