Shellfish Advisory Board Meeting

Thursday, April 9th. 1:30 PM

Zoom Meeting

Dave Seitler called the meeting to order at 1:40pm

Attended: Dave Seitler (chair), Tom Siggia, John Duane, Rebecca Taylor

Other in attendance: Nancy Civetta

Absent: Jake Puffer, Zack Dixon, Chip Benton, Damian Parkington

Discussion on revolving fund to pay for quahogs and oysters dredged from the Wellfleet inner channel to be relayed to Indian Neck area and Chipmans Cove.

Dave Seitler made motion to utilize $6000 from the revolving fund to relay quahogs and oysters from Wellfleet harbor to inter title harvest areas .

John Duane 2nd. All in favor 4-0.

Discussed the summer internship for our plastics project. We decided to interview the three applicants using Zoom on Monday April 13. Tom Siggia , John Duane and Rebecca Taylor will conduct interviews. The three candidates are Zeno Schwebel, Ross Scherma and Willa Crowell.

Discussed a joint meeting with Friends of Herring River and Shellfish Community.

Nancy will work with FHR to schedule meeting in the next two weeks.

Tom Siggia made a motion to adjourn meeting, Dave Seitler 2nd. All in favor 4-0.
