Mayo Creek Restoration Committee                     Meeting Minutes 4/14/15

Present: Walter Baron, Pat Winslow, John, Riehl, Jake Puffer, John Portnoy

5:00 PM

-Motion to approve minutes from 2/24/15, Walter Baron, Second Pat Winslow, Pass 3-0

-Motion to approve minutes from 3/24/15, Jake Puffer, Second John Portnoy, Pass 4-0

-Discussion of invoice from D’Allessandro Corp. for Culvert RDA from 2006

-Reschedule Board of Selectmen meeting to June 16th, and brief new selectmen on project.

-Start water level monitoring two weeks before trial begins.

-Public Meeting

            -Invite abutters and interested parties

                        -APCC

                        -Friends of the Herring River

                        -Harbormaster

                        -Waste Water committee

                        -Conservation Commission

                        -Shellfish advisory committee

                        -Other interested parties

-Review information from Hillary regarding trial test.

-Hillary will be the designated contact for trial termination

-Coordinate with Harbormaster to check the removal and re-installation process of Duck Bill.

-Offer water testing to Wellfleet Marine for the duration of the trial.

-Discussion of letter drafted by John Riehl to HVCC regarding salt intrusion

-Motion to give HVCC permission to allow Bennet to test well on HVCC property John Portnoy, Second Jake Puffer, Pass 5-0

-Next Meeting Thursday May 7th 5:00PM
