Route 6 Main Street Intersection Project

Update on Route 6 and Main Street work
Lawrence Lynch Corp is scheduled to begin their work under Contract #122609 on Route 6 and Main Street and #124020 Route 6 Paving on Monday 2/12/2024. This work will include advanced warning sign installation, erosion control installation, and clearing and grubbing.
Contract work hours are 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday.

During late winter/early spring of 2024 the Rt 6 Main Street Intersection project will commence work with preliminary clearing, grubbing and utility work along Main Street and portions of Route 6.    We will continue to update the website during construction in the event of potential road closures and/or detours so the public can plan accordingly.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the DPW office at 508-349-0315 and we will be able to assist you or direct your message to the appropriate MassDOT staff member.
