Low Lying Roads Contract / ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE
Construction & Traffic Notice – Week of July 13th, 2026
- A 24-hour/day road closure will be put in place on Old County Road at the Location of Bound Brook.
- This will allow N&M excavating to begin work installing a box culvert within the roadway. This closure is anticipated to last between 4-6 weeks. South bound traffic will be directed to Pamet Point Road and Noth Bound Traffic is to utilize Coles Neck Road to bypass the road closure. Please note that due to the marshland on either side of the road there is No Pedestrian or Bicycle access through the road closure. N&M will also be completing work at the Pole Dike Road Culvert and continue removal of the High Toss Road Causeway.

N&M Excavating will be working along Pole Dike Road installing culvert components. Expect delays. Detour
routes are available north and south of Pole Dike Road via Briar Lane and Coles Neck Road. If able please
utilize alternate routes to avoid delays. Detail officers will accompany the crew to assist drivers and
pedestrians. N&M will be removing the High Toss Road Causeway. No pedestrian access to this area.
