Welcome, Introductions and Announcements

Discuss briefly presentations made by Sarah Korjeff, Historic Preservation Specialist for the Cape Cod Commission and Jennifer Doherty, Local Government Programs Coordinator for the Massachusetts Historical Commission in our last WHC meeting on 9/7/22.

2) Discuss Jennifer Doherty’s recommendations: 1) Come to an agreement with the Building Commissioner re: the definition of “in whole or in part” demolition; 2). Adjust our process so that it is similar to the MHC sample bylaw; 3). Work toward amending Wellfleet’s Demolition Delay Bylaw to clarify the threshold for review.

3) Discuss possible definitions of “in whole or in part" demolition to propose to Wellfleet’s Building Commissioner James Badera.

4). Discuss possible presentations (ie. historic houses, windows & doors, historic preservation & climate change, Baker-Biddle House/Bound Brook); Digitizing Wellfleet’s Form Bs; working with the Cultural District on plaques.
