Please take notice that the Wellfleet Conservation Commission, in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40, and the Wellfleet Environmental Protection Bylaw, and the Truro Conservation Commission, in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40 and the Truro Conservation Bylaw, will hold a joint Public Hearing via Zoom Video Conference, on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 5:00 pm., relative to Notices of Intent filed in each town by the Town of Wellfleet and the Cape Cod National Seashore for an Ecological Restoration Limited Project to restore native tidal wetland habitat to large portions of the Herring River floodplain in and adjacent to the Seashore, by removing man-made tidal restrictions (including removal and replacement of the Chequessett Neck Road dike with a bridge and sluice gates) and re-establishing tidal exchange in the river basin and connected sub-basins.
