Welcome, Introductions and Announcements

Note:  WHC members may visit project sites and view the exterior of each property during the week before each monthly meeting.  As we make decisions about proposals, we refer to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.

              1). 181 Holbrook Avenue, Unit B (1935): Proposal to install 9 replacement windows on single family accessory dwelling.                       (Presenter/Property owner: Caitlin Kral/Phifer Family Trust)

              2). 215 Pilgrim Spring Rd, Unit 5 (1940):  Proposal to expand bedrooms by 40” bump-out on West Side of Cottage.                               (Presenter/Property Owner: Sally Stern)

              3).  84 Commercial Street (1850):  Proposal to replace less than 50% of original foundation with a concrete foundation                          and brick facing with no change in elevation.  Front deck will be demolished and replaced.               4). 135 Paine Hollow Rd (1846):  Proposal to remove addition and crawl space on south side of original house, remove                       1980s Palladian window on East side and replace with shed dormer and windows, replace windows from 1980s-90s                       with Marvin double-hung units, replace exterior trim when rot is present, replace rotted wood shingles with new-dimen                     sional asphalt shingles, construct new additions on south and east side of original house.  (Presenter: Andrew Long;                       Property owner: Lucia Letendre)

              5). Meeting with new Wellfleet Building Inspector James Badera on 1/31/22

              7) Form Bs/Historic Plan (Mead-Fox/McAuliffe):  Eric Dray’s Form Bs on WHC Google Drive need to be edited and sent                     to MHC for MACRIS Database.

              8) Discuss means of creating a Historical Commission website, so that people can more easily access our application,                        Form Bs, and information about our work.
