Affordable Housing Trust-Virtual

The Trustees of the Wellfleet Affordable Housing Trust will hold a public meeting on December 13, 2021 at 7:00 PM.  The meeting will be conducted via Zoom Video Conferencing in accordance with the Open Meeting Law.  Instructions for a Zoom video conference, which includes phone call in options can be found below:

Announcements and public comment.  Public comment must be brief.  Matters raised only during Announcements and public comment will not be the subject of deliberation by the trustees.

Executive session to consider the purchase of real property.  (The trustees will return to open session following completion of the executive session.)

Status reports on housing related activities (Housing Authority, Local Housing Partnership, 95 Lawrence Road Task Force, etc.)

Zoning bylaw amendment proposal (Mr. Curley.)

Update on Trust account balances (if available.)

Update on  policy request for short term rental tax revenue (if available.)

Update on status of proposed requests for proposals (Freeman Ave. and vacant land.)

Possible amendment of the Trust’s grant application to the Community Preservation Committee to commit housing eligible funds to support debt service for a general obligation bond.

Status of Mass Housing Partnership technical assistance grant and strategic plan for the Trust; consideration of draft goals and strategies (from November 15th.)

Fund raising for the Trust.

Possible budget request for land acquisition funding  and administrative support in fiscal 2023.

Town meeting article to make corrections the the Trust bylaw.

Support for creation of accessory dwelling units.

Future meeting agenda items and next meeting date.

Approval of minutes: October 18, 2021 open and executive sessions, November 4, 2021 executive session, and November 15, 2021 open session.
