Agenda 

Welcome, Introductions and Announcement

1).   91 Pine Point Road:  Proposal to add an 8’ by 13’ screened-in porch with a shed roof and shingled knee wall to the South Side of the house facing Pine Point Way.  (Elaine McIlroy and Stephen Russell)

2).   3544 State Highway:  1815 Main house windows being renovated; 1920 Cottage window replacement, replace rotted trim, re-shingle where needed;  Barn/shed removal of lead-painted shingles, shutters, and some clapboard.

3).    22 Way 55: On East, West, and South Cottage Elevations and Studio: Proposal to change windows in Cottage Dining room,  Bedroom alcove, and Studio from full height casements to tall casements over fixed windows.  On East Elevation: A small horizontal awning window will be added in the laundry area.  Windows will be fiberglass in lieu of painted wood.  Solar panels are proposed for the south portion of the roof (Kitty Ryan and Joseph Vallely)

Note:  WHC members may visit these project sites and view the exterior of each property.

4).   Community Preservation / Historic Plan / Workshop / Form B update:                     

  • Preservation Specialist Lynn Smiledge will give a Zoom presentation on 10/20 or 10/21 about Wellfleet’s architectural history, Wellfleet’s homes and the people who lived in them. Discuss and Vote on budget for her presentation and PR.  New contract for Lynn to do more work updating Wellfleet’s Historic Inventories (Form Bs).  Issues re: storage of Form Bs at Library, WHSM, and MHC.

5).  WHC Application process and followup with Building Department
