The Wellfleet Selectboard will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. located at the Wellfleet Adult Community Center (ACC), 715 Old King's Highway, Wellfleet, MA 02667. Remote participation will be available by Zoom and telephone as provided below, in compliance with 940 CMR 29.10 and the Town's Remote Participation Policy. If technological problems interrupt remote participation, the meeting may be suspended or ended at the discretion of the Chair in consultation with the Board.
Selectboard meetings are broadcast live on Comcast cable (Wellfleet Government TV Channel 18) and are recorded. Recordings of meetings are available at wellfleet-ma.gov
Note: Any individual may record the meeting, but must first notify the Chair, and may not interfere with the meeting to record it. See M.G.L. c. 30A, s. 20(f).

I. Announcements and Public Comments
- Note: Public comments are limited to no more than three minutes per speaker. The Board will not deliberate or vote on any matter raised solely during Announcements & Public Comments.
II. Open Meeting Law Complaint Discussion
- Discuss, deliberate and vote to take action on two Open Meeting Law complaints:
- Filed by Sarah Nichols on 5/28/2026 regarding minutes of the April 21, 2026, Selectboard meeting, and regarding the sufficiency of executive session minutes from the Selectboard’s October 7, 2025, executive session.
- To review and revise the meeting minutes of April 21, 2026, and October 7, 2025, then to revote to approve the revised minutes.
III. Consent Agenda
- Reappoint board and committee members for a new 3-year term, (names and committee names are in the selectboard packet).
IV. Public Hearings
- Reconsideration of Change of manager, for the Hog Island Beer and Surf Lodge – from Michael McNamara to Earl Evans Kendall
- Outer Cape Music Festival ~ David White; Special Event Liquor License for September 5th & 6th to be served during the Music Festival at the Pier.
- Application received May 26, 2026; One Day Special Alcohol License for St. James the Fisherman; Anniversary Celebration on July 25, 2026.
V. Board/Committee Appointments and Updates
- Discuss and possible appointment of Robert Dupuis from an alternate member to a voting member on the Wellfleet Planning Bord for a term of 3 years.
- Discuss and possible appointment of Robert Wagner as a voting member to the Wellfleet Planning Board for a term of 3 years.
VI. Business
- Mark Robinson ~ The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts ~ The board will vote to approve the Conservation Restrictions that have been reviewed and okayed by the State and have been recommended to the Selectboard
- Accept Wellfleet Oyster Alliance grant award for the ice machine in the amount of $112,155.90
- Wellfleet Energy Climate Action Committee ~ Decarbonization Road Map, final discussion and possible vote.
- Local Aid Distribution, the board will discuss and take a possible vote on a support letter to increase local aid distribution.
- Chequessett Neck Bridge Signage ~ Board to discuss and give direction.
- Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater discussion, the board will discuss if there are any possibilities that the town can help the theater.
