Duck Pond and Gull Pond Reopened (6/17/2023)

Public Health Advisory: Duck and Gull Pond Closure

(6/17/2023) UPDATE: Duck Pond and Gull Pond have both passed the most recent water quality test. As a result they are reopened for swimming 

(6/16/2023) PUBLIC HEALTH ADVISORY: Duck Pond and the main beach of Gull Pond are closed for swimming due to elevated bacteria (E.coli) counts. Swimming may cause illness.  Due to this exceedance, these beaches do not meet 105 CMR 4445.00, Minimum Standards for Bathing Beaches, and are required to be closed to swimming.  Re-samples were collected today (6/16/2023) and once acceptable results are received the beaches will be reopened accordingly.
