Board of Water Commissioners
Wellfleet Town Hall Conference Room, 300 Main St.

Commissioners Present: Chair Justina Carlson, Neil Gadwa, Curt Felix, James Hood, Catharie Nass
Also Present: Xanthe E. Labovites, Board Secretary, Gail Ferguson
Chair Carlson calls the meeting to order at 7:00
Discussion with Scott Horsley-Consultant
The Board rescheduled the meeting with Scott Horsley of the Horsley-Witten Group for the August 15th meeting. The Board will send Horsley information outlining what they hope to accomplish, and will discuss a list of skills and experience required for the upcoming position. They will ask the Wastewater Committee to attend as a joint meeting.
Recycling Committee Initiatives:
The Board discussed having Town water available to residents with by means of a public water fountain. They would like to keep this topic as an ongoing discussion item on agendas.
Nass moved to support turning on the fountains in the Town Hall, adding a public fountain at Town Hall, as well as explore a network.
Hood Seconded the motion. The motion carried, 5-0.
The Board discussed sending the motion to the Recycling Committee.

Cost of Service Option-No discussion at this time
Wastewater and Water Commission Warrant Article:
Path Forward
The Board of Water Commissioners will ask Comprehensive Wastewater Management Planning Committee to come to the meeting with Scott Horsley for August 15th.

Felix moved to approve the minutes of 7/18/2017, Seconded by Hood, and the motion carried 5-0.
