Wellfleet Planning Board

Wellfleet Senior Center, 715 Old King’s Hwy

Members Present: Chair, Gerald Parent; Vice Chair, Andrew Freeman; Steve Cooney; Alfred Pickard; Denny O’Connell

Others Present: Assistant Town Administrator, Brian Carlson

Chair Parent called the meeting of the Planning Board to order at 7:00 P.M.

A joint meeting with the Board of Selectmen and the Wellfleet Housing Authority was called to order by the Chair of the Board of Selectmen to hear a presentation and to discuss the new Wellfleet Housing Needs Assessment and Action Plan (the Plan).

The discussion commenced at approximately 7:20pm.  A presentation of the new Plan was given by Karen Sunnarborg, Housing Consultant for the Wellfleet Housing Authority.  There was a period of question and answer.  Chair Parent polled the board to see if they were ready to take a formal vote on endorsing the Plan.  It was decided that the Planning Board would discuss the Plan at their next meeting and take any required votes at that time.

The joint discussion ended and the Planning Board meeting adjourned by consensus at 8:20pm.
