Meeting Minutes

Attendees:  Chair Roger Putnam, Sharon Inger, Vern Jacob and Trevor Pontbriand

Regrets:  Bruce Drucker, Mick Lynch, Manny Heyliger and Don

Chair Roger Putnam called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

7:00PM

  1. Frederick and Lauren Bromberg, 195 Samoset Ave., Map 28, Parcel 97:  Application for a Special    Permit under M.G.L.c.40A, s.6 and WZB 6.1 to demolish existing dwelling on a pre-existing, non-conforming lot and construct a new dwelling and 2) a Floodplain Exemption under WZB 6.13 and 6.14. (Continued from 07/16/15).  The Board consisted of Roger Putnam, Sharon Inger, Vern Jacob and Trevor Pontbriand.  Attorney Ben Zehnder, representing the applicant, requested the application be withdrawn without prejudice.  He stated the applicant and the engineer are waiting to get information from FEMA and require additional time in order to get approved by the Conservation Commission.  He requested the Town agree to an $85.00 filing fee when they reapply to the ZBA.  Roger Putnam moved to allow the application be withdrawn without prejudice; seconded by Trevor Pontbriand; passed 4-0.

  7:20 pm

  1. James and Marriana Ennis, 80 Kendrick Ave., Map 20, Parcel 21:  Application for a Exemption, Flood Hazard District Regulations under WZB 6.14.3 for an addition to replace an existing bedroom with a master bedroom / bath and modest sunroom.  Christine
    Bates, Committee Secretary, stated she had received an e-mail requesting a continuation.  It was determined the applicant has to go before the Conservation Commission for their approval.  Roger Putnam moved to continue to October 8, 2015; seconded by Sharon Inger; passed 4-0.

Business

Roger Putnam moved that at the Board’s discretion, when an applicant withdraws without prejudice due to the need to get further information/documentation, etc. and re-files an application within a six (6) month timeframe,  the fee will be $85.00; seconded by Trevor Pontbriand; passed 4-0.
