Meeting Minutes

Attendees:  Roger Putnam, Sharon Inger, Reatha Ciotti, Trevor Pontbriand, Manny Heyliger, Vern Jacob, and Don Palladino,

Regrets:  Bruce Drucker and Mick Lynch

1.  Helen Webster, 10 Pheasant Run, Map 7, Parcel 29, Application for a Special Permit under WZB 6.2 to construct garage within side setback.  The Board of consisted of Roger Putnam, Sharon Inger, Vern Jacob, Trevor Pontbriand and Reatha Ciotti.  The Board explained to Ms. Webster that the current dwelling is within all the setbacks and the house and parcel are conforming.  By constructing the accessory building, the lot would be non-conforming within the side setback, and would require a Request for a Variance.  Variances are only granted if the conditions, shape, or topography of land or substantial hardship, financial or otherwise cannot be met otherwise.  Ms. Webster requested to withdraw her application without prejudice.  Sharon Inger moved to allow the petition be withdrawn without prejudice; seconded by Reatha, Ciotti; passed 5-0.  Roger Putnam moved that there be a refund to Ms. Webster minus the town’s expenses due to the guidance she received from the town; seconded by Sharon Inger; passed 6-0.

07/07/16 -  Roger Putnam moved to approve the amended meeting minutes of 07/07/16; seconded by Sharon Inger, passed 5-0.

07/21/16  -Roger Putnam moved to approve the amended meeting minutes of 07/21/16, seconded by Don Palladino; passed 4-0.

Sharon Inger moved to adjourn at 7:30 pm; seconded by Reatha Ciotti, passed 6-0.
