-Motion to approve minutes from 7/27/16 John Portnoy, Second Jake Puffer, pass 5-0

-Discussion of possible modeling outcomes,

-How groundwater would be effected by tidal restoration

-Larry Martin has indicated that evidence suggests an increase in Mean Tide Level would               increase ground water level.

-Surveying of low lying properties indicates restoration would be limited to below 1.5ft NAVD88         to avoid present structures.

-Modeling will not convey water quality for drinking water in private wells.

-What restoration can be accomplished with a modification of the existing culvert?

            -Tidal Gate

-Bigger pipe with dredging and addition of side channels could lower Mean Tide Level

-Is amount of restoration achieved worth the cost?

-Monitoring needs

            -Tide height

            -Groundwater level

            -Drinking water

-John Portnoy suggested to hire a consulting hydrologist to put together the NOI

-Funding

-Benefits of Nitrogen mediation
