Meeting Minutes 7/27/16

Mayo Creek

Present: John Riehl, John Portnoy, Jake Puffer, Walter Baron, Pat Winslow

5:00 PM

- John Portnoy and John Riehl met with Kirk Bosma regarding the modeling of Mayo Creek

            - new modeling is underway fro a low and wide culvert.  Also it is assumed that the marsh side of the creek would need to be dredged to equal the level of the harbor side.

-  DPW has stated that there is a 8” water pipe that is about 5ft below commercial st.  The pipe travels over the creek bed.

-Discussion of monitoring wells.

            -Establishing a baseline for Salinity, groundwater levels, water quality

            -Discussion of what needs to be monitored at this stage of process

-Dave Bennett has indicated that he would like to meet to discuss information he has obtained from the monitoring well we installed near harbor side village.

-Harbor Side Village has sent a letter asking the MCRC to meet with their board of directors.

            -Discussion of possibly getting both with Dave Bennett and Maria Hollis at same time

-Motion to approve minutes from 1/14/15 and 5/14/16 as  amended John Portnoy, second John Riehl, pass 5-0
