Mayo Creek Restoration Committee                  Meeting Minutes 5/16/16

Present: John Riehl, John Portnoy, Jake Puffer, Walter Baron, Pat Winslow

5:00 PM

-Larry Martin has indicated that the mean tide level must stay the same as it is now to avoid abutter impact, and the new culvert must raise the Mean high tide level to achieve 20 acre restoration.

            -design would include tidal gate

                        -allows for an incremental opening

-Meet with Woods Hole Group

-Hire a groundwater hydrologist

-Set-up a meeting with Harbor Side Village, and Dave Bennett

-Discussion of Project budget, and “in kind” work

-Discussion of Scope of project and timeline

-Discussion of engineering project and funding

-next meeting mid- June
