Electrical Vehicle Gharging Stations Donation

The town administrator requested a recommendation from the harbormaster and Marina

Advisory Committee regarding the placement of two electricalvehicle charging station

at the marina. After discussion, the Committee passed unanimously the following motion

made by Watter and seconded by Martha. This recommendation was strongly supported

by the harbormaster.

Motion: The Marinra Advisoru Committee recommends that the two etectric vehicle

charging stations not be placed at the marina for the following reasons:

1. The marine environment will probably be detrimental to the chargers

2. Two parking spaces witt have to be utitized wilh parking already extremely limited

3. The probability exists that additional vehicles witt be parked waiting for access to the

chargers, taking up valuable spaces

4. The uncertainty of who be responsible for electricity payments after the grant expires.

5. The responsibitity to monitor and maintain the chargers cannot be assumed by

marina staff, already stretched thin..

Meeting adjourned at 7:58 pm on a motion made by Frederick and seconded by Walter.
