which he shared with Bill.

The commission has been informed the Town Of Wellfleet wants to demolish the Mayo Beach

Baker Bath House. We have no form b on property.

When demolition permit gets approved, the commission will be notified.

A. Freyss will obtain deed. Will review at next meeting.

Letters to owners of historic properties

J. Tash completed refresh of mailing list. Will work to get mailing out 2nd week of May.

Proposed Redo of Town Hall Common

The comission was asked for their thoughts and ideas on the town hall common project.

We discussed whether the project has historical significance and do we support the integrity

of project.

M. Burks stated that the Central District's period of significance ends in 1915. Since Town Hall

was built after that “ protecting the general character of the Central Historic District” might be

the only recommendation we can make. Flag pole and canon have historical significance but

we do not know where the cannon originally sat.

She asked commission to review website and be ready to discuss the Central District's Form

A's at our next meeting. It can be found on MACRIS.

Pamet Point Road – National Register listing proposal

M. Burks thanked the team who attended the town meeting. Our funding request was

approved for 2017. Next step is for commission to contact owners to discuss what the

proposal means and the actions we would like to pursue. Maria will put together talking

points for discussion with owners. Will be completed by next meeting. Fewer than 20%

of owners must mobject for MHC to be willing to consider a possible listing. Once we

know that owners are willing to have the area proposed for listing we will ask State of

Massachusetts for matching funds to prepare the nomination.

Posting meeting minutes on town Website – Miriam Spencer request

M. Spencer offered to put our minutes on town website. T. Siggia will meet to discuss.
