Minutes of Meeting of April 27, 2015

Wellfleet Elementary School Library, 6:00 PM

Commissioners Present: Stephen Polowczyk, Chair, Sam Bradford, Janet Loewenstein, Linda Pellegrino, Sylvia Smith, Robert Wallace, Ira Wood,

Commissioners Absent: Thomas Reinhart, Liz Sorrell

Also Attending: Town Administrator Harry Terkanian, Assistant Town Administrator Brian Carlson

Chair Polowczyk called the meeting to order at 6:01 PM.

Minutes

Wood moved to approve the minutes of 3/16/15. Pellegrino seconded, and the motion carried 6-0.

Article 2 Transfers

There were no additional transfers since the last Finance Committee meeting. Wood moved to recommend Article 2, Smith seconded the motion and the motion carried 6-0

Article 6 WEA Unit A, Article 7 WEA Unit B, Article 8 WEA Unit C, and Article 9 Non-Union Wages

Loewenstein arrived after TA Terkanian’s explanation of Articles 6-9. Wood moved to recommended all four Articles 6-9, Smith seconded, and the motion carried 6-0-1

Liaison Reports

Chair Polowczyk, the Personnel Board liaison, said that the Board met regarding the staffing of the Wellfleet Municipal Water System and the recommendation was to incorporated functions into existing job descriptions of the TA’s Executive Assistant and the WMWS clerk.

Adjournment

Chair Polowczyk made the motion to adjourn, Wood seconded, and the motion carried 7-0. The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 PM.
