Chair Justina Carlson called the meeting to order at 7:02 PM.
Water Operations Report [Roy Maher]
Roy Maher of WhiteWater, Inc. gave the Operator’s report, including pumping and usage data for March and April.
2014 Consumer Confidence Report
Miteva presented the updated Consumer Confidence Report for 2014 that will be mailed to all abutters to the WMWS. Chair Carlson moved to approve the report as presented; Gadwa seconded; motion passed 4-0.
Tower Inspection and Paint Update
WhiteWater, Inc. still recommends the contractor Underwater Solutions to perform inspection of the town water tank on Lawrence Rd. Chair Carlson moved to accept the bid from Underwater Solutions to inspect the town water tank; Nass seconded; motion passed 4-0.
The BWC is waiting for Town Counsel to respond the CBI’s requirement that the town’s demands regarding the investigation of paint preparation methods be put in writing.
Financial Models / Master Planning
The Board discussed how generating a viable financial model will be instrumental in determining the updates that need to be made to the Master Plan. TA Terkanian reminded the Board that there are arguments to be made for the community at large and the community that owns property along the streets included in the water system that they benefit from paving of streets, and fire protection. The Master Plan is on the Select Board’s list of goals for FY16.
Survey of State Water Systems (Case Studies)
Nass updated the Board on the latest webinar in which she has participated. She will be attending a Drinking Water Fair at the Mass Maritime Academy and will report back.
USDA Phase II Funding Update
The list of approved equipment needs was presented to the Board.
Tufts Project
The Graduate student from Tufts Engineering Dept., Maria Sol Ucciani, introduced herself and gave an overview of what she can offer the town. TA Terkanian made suggestions for possible project ideas. These, as well as others were discussed. Ucciani will use the information she gathered during her visit to Wellfleet the WMWS to draft a proposal for a scope of work for her project.
Vanderschmidt left the meeting at 6:25 PM.

Chair Carlson moved to approve the 6/2/15 BWC minutes; seconded by Nass; motion passed 3-0.
