TOWN OF WELLFLEET PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with MGL Chapter 130 Sections 52, 57, 58, 60, and 68 and all applicable Town Shellfish Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Wellfleet Selectboard will hold a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. to consider the following:
- Addition to Section 7.15.3. Use of Spat Collecting Devices in the Town ofWellfleet's Shellfishing Policy and Regulations to add a tagging requirement. Shellfish Advisory Board voted to recommend this addition 4-0 at its November 18, 2021 meeting.
- Additions to Section 7.23 Extension of Acreage Without Permission in the Town of Wellfleet's Shellfishing Policy and Regulations to include resolution of boundary disputes. Shellfish Advisory Board voted to recommend this addition 4-0 at its February 9, 2022 meeting.
- In accordance with MGL Chapter 130 Sections 52, 57, 58, 60, and 68 and all applicable Town Shellfish Regulations, notice is hereby given that the Wellfleet Selectboard will hold a virtual public hearing on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 6:00 p.m to consider the following:
- Status of License Holder Aquacultural Research Corporation (A.R.C.) of Shellfish Grant License #792 continued from Jan 25, 2022 & Feb 22, 2022, with regards to Sections 7.8.1. Eligibility Requirements, 7.8.2. Domicile Requirement and Exception, 7.8.8. Aquaculture Research and Development Projects, 7.12. Evidence of Productivity: Use It or Lose It, 7.13. Annual Report, 7.8.7 Grants Established Before Aug 1, 1993.
