AGENDA

The Wellfleet Parking Task Force II (PTF II) will hold a public meeting on Wednesday,  May 1, 2019 at 4:00 pm at the Wellfleet Senior Center at 715 Old King's Highway Anyone desiring to record the meeting may do so only after notifying the Chair and may not interfere with the conduct of the Meeting in doing so. It is anticipated that the meeting will be video recorded and subsequently posted on the Town Website

  1. Announcements & Public Comment: Note: Public comments must be brief. The Board will not deliberate or vote on any matter raised solely during Announcements & Public Comment.
  2. Meeting Minutes - Review and approve Draft Minutes of April 3, 2019
  3. Data Collection & Outreach
    1. Update on Survey efforts
  4. Taxpayer Survey - Update status and data entry process
  5. Beach Permit Office - approved and ready. Consider PTF member participation
  6. Business Survey - Review and approve. Discuss distribution process.
  7. Marina Survey - Update results
    1. Review of PTF status report at April 22 - W. Clough
    2. Review of correspondence
    3. Consider recommending expanding PTF by one person
    4. Outreach to: Forum, Selectboard, Non-Resident Taxpayers Assoc., Seashore Homeowners Assoc., Press
    5. Suggestions for candidates for future briefings
  8. Specific sites
    1. Ocean Beaches - The only change is access control at WC, otherwise need to collect data
    2. Town Pier area
      1. Pier - 2019 - survey slip/mooring renters - no changes - data analysis
      2. Mayo beach - 2019 - no changes (open parking) - collect data
    3. Downtown area
      1. Main Street - 2019 - Survey businesses, consider stricter time limits, collect and analyze survey data
      2. Town Hall Parking lots - 2019 - no changes, collect data
    4. Satellite/Other areas
      1. South Wellfleet Center - 2019 - Proposal for pay parking kiosks
      2. Consider services and fees for drop-off coaches - parking at Sr. Center?
  9. Itemize conclusions to date - see below
  10. Set next meeting—May 15, Agenda items - Prepare report to SB - target May 28 or June 11 SB meetings
