Agenda accepted with corrections

Minutes of September 5, 2017 meeting: Approved with corrections.

Standing Assignments

PROPERTY MGMT:  R Jackson/ B Hurter.  Property inspections are up to date.

TRAIL GUIDES: R Jackson/L Southey. Lynn reported that WCT paid for the reprint of the In Town trail guide. This guide needs to be added to the guide packages. Denny will have the new AmeriCorps person, Connor Williams, assist with an adjustment to the Box Turtle map.

Liaison Reports

WCT: B. Hurter.  The WCT annual walk was very well attended. 

FHR: L. Southey. Work continues on the permitting process for Phase 1 with anticipated filing to the Cape Cod Commission now November. 

The HR Executive Council met September 25: Tim Smith gave a good presentation on Phase 1. The Stakeholders group was announced.

Next HR meeting: November 13, 2017 at 8:00am at the FHR Office.

HP:  J. Cumbler. No meeting. Bruce said there have reportedly been over 60 applications for the 6 rental units at Gull Pond.

CPC: R Jackson. There was a discussion of proposal to have the town buy land for propagation of oysters for recreational harvesting. Group discussed he definition of Open Space and whether the project would meet criteria for Open Space. CPC meeting is on October 29th once all proposals are in.

NRAB: T Slack.   Not present.

Old Business

Open Space 5 year plan: Brian Carlson passed on a letter from the State listing more requirements. He has scheduled a Comprehensive Plan meeting on November 18 at 10:00am at the COA.

Presentation on Map 30- 186 and 188 for town meeting: voted unanimously to approve this.

Rule/Agger property on LT Island: discussion on this in preparation for a meeting with the Aggers the next day.

New Business

Coast Sweep rescheduled for Sunday, October 22 at 9:00am.

Registration of Cons Com protected properties:  did not discuss.

Properties 

35-210  Pleasant Point. There was a discussion of town appraisal and price of land needed in order to rebuild the Pleasant Point seawall.
