Welcome, Introductions and Announcements
Note: WHC members may visit project sites and view the exterior of each property during the week before
each monthly meeting. As we make decisions about proposals, we refer to the Secretary of the Interior’s
Standards for Rehabilitation.
1). 262 Main Street (1854): Proposal to install black roof mounted solar panels on roof of the
Wellfleet Historical Society and Museum, located in the Wellfleet Center National Register District.
(Presenter: Eric Winslow) (Form B: 266 Main Street)
2). 1546 Baker Avenue (1850): Proposal to move existing house, located in the Wellfleet Center
National Register District, ten (10) feet south toward the street, demolish existing one-story
extension on the east side and replace it with a two story addition to the house on the east elevation.
A new rear stone patio will be connected to the addition with a double sided chimney, and “various
windows will be replaced in kind”. (Presenter: Peter McDonald of Peter McDonald Architects;

3). 55 Ryder Court (1860): Proposal to demolish an existing porch which faces primarily south,
and construct a new porch off the Northeastern portion of the existing dwelling. Note: The
existing building is a pre-existing non-conforming structure because it exists on a parcel smaller than
the required land area.
4) 19 Schoolhouse Hill Rd (1800): Proposal to add a larger bedroom and dormers on the rear of
building to improve headroom for bath, dormers on garage, improve storage (Presenter: David
Rowell; Property owner: Katy Eppley).
5) Town Meeting vote on amendments to Wellfleet’s Demolition Delay Bylaw. (Mead-Fox)
