LCPC Meeting Minutes

Members Present: ATA Brian Carlson, Chair, Jay Horowitz, Janet Lesniak, Paul Lindberg, Jan Morrissey, Suzanne Thomas, Jennifer Wertkin

Members Absent: Mac Hay, Elaine McIlroy, Mary Beth Rodman, Martha Wilson

Others Present: Sky Freyss-Cole

Chair Carlson called the meeting to order at 2:32 PM.

No members of the general public were present.

Minutes

Thomas made the motion to approve the LCPC 9-9-16 Minutes as amended; Lindberg seconded; the motion passed 7-0.

Morrissey made the motion to approve the LCPC 9-16-16 Minutes as amended; Lesniak seconded; the motion passed 6-0-1.

Discussion with facilitator on November 12^th Community Event

Freyss-Cole introduced the process of planning for the community event.  The Committee stated goals for offering a facilitated community event.  The Why, Who, What and When were noted and discussed.  Freyss-Cole will organize notes taken and report back.  A working timeline draft and save the date draft card were reviewed.

Morrissey questioned the how data will be collected at the community event, and how that data will be processed.  A data summary is not part of Freyss-Cole’s contract.  The Committee will have to determine next steps at the post-event meeting.

Ask for volunteers to help with event planning and set-up

Freyss-Cole suggested that a working group sub-committee be created to help implement the event.  Chair Carlson, Thomas, and a third member will form this workshop working group.  

Set next meeting date

The Workshop Group will meet on 10-12-16. 

The next LCPC meeting is scheduled for 10-18-16 at 2:30 PM in the Town Hall 2^nd Floor Conference Room.

Lindberg moved to adjourn; Horowitz seconded; the motion passed 7-0.
