Cape Cod Rail Trail Wellfleet Extension

Thursday, June 13, 2019 - 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

At this public meeting, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will present the preferred alternative design for an extension of the Cape Cod Rail Trail along the former rail corridor running from Lacount Hollow Road to Route 6 near Wellfleet Center.   There will be an opportunity for questions-and-answers and public comments. 

The presentation from the public meeting will be viewable after the meeting on DCR’s website at https://www.mass.gov/service-details/cape-cod-rail-trail-wellfleet-exten... Public comments will be accepted after the meeting, with a deadline for receipt by DCR of June 28, 2019. Comments may be submitted online at www.mass.gov/dcr/public-comment or by writing to the Department of Conservation and Recreation, Office of Public Outreach, 251 Causeway Street, 6th Floor, Boston, MA 02114.  Please note that comments submitted to DCR may be posted on the DCR website in their entirety, and no information, including personal information, will be redacted.
