in the Department of Public Works. This is a Temporary 40 hour per week position. Applicant will have performed skilled journeyman’s duties in at least one (1) trade or craft in carpentry, plumbing or electrical. Work will include but is not limited to knowledge of building maintenance. Compensation to be based on experience. The Town of Wellfleet is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Water System Clerk/Committee Secretary.  Initial salary range will be in the mid to upper $30,000 and commensurate with experience.  Position is full-time, 40 hours a week, with full benefits.  The position reports to the Assistant Town Administrator and Water System Supervisor.  The position does not supervise any employees.  The position requires responsibility for the oversight of a range of municipal functions including, but not limited to; provide exceptional customer service, process water system records, provide clerical support to the Planning Board, Finance Committee, Board of Water Commissioners and the Board of Health.  The position is required to attend evening meetings.  Interested applicants may obtain the job description and application HERE or from the Administration Office.
