The Town of Wellfleet, MA is seeking to hire a Driver Laborer/ Operator in the Department of Public Works to work at the Wellfleet Transfer Station. This is a permanent, full time (40 hours per week) position and includes weekends. Duties are primarily at the Wellfleet Transfer Station under the Department of Public Works. Some of the duties include recycling, assist in enforcing Board of Health regulations, interacting with the public, operation of construction equipment such as a front-end loader, backhoe and snow removal equipment. The position requires a Class B, CDL license and a Massachusetts Hoisting license. A minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a heavy equipment operator is desired.
