Public Hearings 5:00 pm:

Dalby Revocable Family Trust, 239 Holbrook Ave., Map 14, Parcel 150, NOI, septic upgrade

David Lajoie represented the applicant and presented the plan for a septic system to serve a four bedroom dwelling.  The leach field will be 38’ to the freshwater wetland. The Notice of Intent was approved

Marian Rissenberg, 345 Pilgrim Springs Rd., Map 29, Parcel 240, NOI, grade selective areas, reduce size of driveway, install stepping stones, construct steps and stone sitting areas.  Plant native plants around dwelling.  Charles Wentz represented the applicant.  The Commissioners requested that the proposed sitting area on the top of the coastal bank be removed from the project.  The Notice of Intent was approved by a vote of 4-0. Deborah Freeman will be the supervisor.

Melvin, 35 Holbrook Ave., Map 20, Parcel 138, NOI, demolish and rebuild 2 dwellings (Cont’d)

Eliza Cox and David Sadowsky represented the applicant. A septic plan approved by the Board of Health and panels from the FEMA flood insurance rate map were reviewed.  There was a lengthy discussion on Chapter 91 and the Commissioners requested a determination from the Chapter 91 office prior to voting.  There was a request for more information on the type of equipment that was going to be used on site and the weight of the proposed equipment as the site is very wet. The operator/construction firm will be there for the site visit.   A new construction protocol will be needed. The Commission moved to continue the hearing to May 2, 2018 by a vote of 4-0.
